About Rajeev
Rajeev Chandrasekhar, 45, Independent Member of Parliament - Rajya Sabha (Upper House) represents Karnataka state and Bangalore Urban district.
Rajeev is the Immediate Past President - FICCI (India's largest and oldest chamber of commerce). During his Tenure of 12 months as FICCI President, Rajeev has had an inside view of the rapid decline of the Indian economy. Rajeev is the youngest president of FICCI.
He has been actively involved in various efforts at turning out the vote of the Urban Middle class and youth in these elections. He considers these elections as being an 'inflection point' elections for India. He maintains close contact with many young and older politicians across political lines.
Rajeev believes that Awakened, Aware, Active, informed and Determined Citizens can create change. Rajeev's Blog creates this exact platform for all citizens to share their thoughts and views on how we can vote for a better leader to bring in change.

Rajeev's Programmes
- Rajeev is the Convenor - ABIDe (Agenda for Bengaluru Infrastructure and Development Task Force). ABIDe is an initiative by the Honourable Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa and the Government of Karnataka to build a better Bengaluru for its Citizens.
- Rajeev Chandrasekhar is the Chairman of the National Military Memorial Committee. Karnataka becomes the first state in the country to have a National Military Memorial, post Independence. The foundation stone was laid on February 10, 2009.
