Dear Honourable Finance Minister,

Subject: Disparity in Per Capita Income

This is with reference to Starred Question No 162 of November 27, 2007

I believe it may be more accurate to report the rural per capital income as a number that grosses up and includes the rural per capita subsidy spends. That would be a better representation of what is happening in rural India and would also be a better way to communicate the actual economic progress of rural India.

I hope you will look into this suggestion.
