The Rajeev Chandrasekhar Foundation
The Rajeev Chandrasekhar Foundation mainly focuses on programmes aimed at primary
education for poor children and has also financially supported important causes
like support for Tsunami affected people, Kargil war and defence personnel, training
of tribals in Kalahandi region of Orissa and rehabilitation of children impacted
by the tragic burning of school in Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu.
The Rajeev Chandrasekhar Foundation has been supporting hard and soft infrastructure
in the several government schools and now finalising plans to roll out full-fledged
plan programme with focus training and capacity building of teachers of the BBMP
schools.
The Rajeev Chandrasekhar Foundation has committed to build 1000 house for the flood
hit people in Bagalkot district of North Karnataka region. Of these, nearly 300
houses will be ready for handover in September 2010. |
